Another idea: try to remove the slide 14 and check if it works, then add again slide 14.

On your win7 computer everything works correctly? even the exported presentation?

About the pro version, I am working hard on it actually (and the new standard version too). Really, it depends of how many features I want to add … I won’t give any date, but I hope I can still release it this month.

Well, for the website movies I used the standard preset values for FLV output (“Flash Movies – Low Quality” – for the small, and “Flash Movies – Hi Quality” for the one on the home page).

The most important setting for the quality is effectively the bitrate, 1200 is good but uses a lot of bandwith, and 500-700 does not use much bandwith but may be too small for dynamic novies… it is a trade-of.

Yes sure.

– Open Slide Effect.
– Create a slide.
– Go to the background tab.
– Choose “Customizable” category.
– Choose “Looped Movie” background.
– On the bottom tab, click on “Choose…” for the “Movie File”.
– Browse to the directory where you saved your MotionKit movies.
– Choose the movie you want (for PAL/NTSC movies, use NTSC version).
– Then you can change the movie Zoom to your likes.

Hi,

First question: are you using the last version of Slide Effect (ie 1.5.1)? We improved a lot of things regarding memory management on this version. So be sure you are using it.

Does your presentation plays correctly when used inside Slide Effect instead of exported as executable?

If not, is it possible for you to send me the faulty presentation so I can give it a look?

I already created 100+ slides presentation without any problem, so we should figure out what’s going on.

actually it is not possible to add more fonts. But the upcomming PRO version will have this feature. Stay tuned.

Yes sure, just go on Background tab, then choose “Customizable” category (the last on the list).

If you want to use a video you can use “Looped Movie” and select your video on the bottom panel, and you have got your own background.

can you do the following:

– Right click on the Slide Effect shortcut on the desktop, then click
“Properties”
– On the Property windows, click on the left bottom button called
something like “Open target file” (something with target on it) (My
Windows is in French, I don’t remember exactly the text)
– A file explorer windows should open.
– On this window, select “se” or “se.exe”, right click on it and choose
again “Properties”
– Open the “Compatibility” tab.
– There is probably an option called “Turn off advanced text services for this
program”. Select this option and hit “OK”.

Run again Slide Effect and tell me if it works better.

If it is not better, please download and run this program:
https://www.slide-effect.com/tmp/cube1.exe

It should display a 3D cube in fullscreen. Please tell me if it works or not.

Hi Goran,

Thanks for your purchase.

The error you describe is well known (unfortunately I did not (yet) find the root of the problem).

Two things:
– Restart your computer: this operation corrects the issue in most of the cases.
– If the problem is still there, download once again the full version and re-install it.

I’m 99% sure the reboot will fix the problem, but, if not, I will take a serious look to the problem.
