I don’t have 1.12.5 installed here, but it may be impossible to run the presentation using the command line as it needs some files in the temporary directory.

The best is to create a self-executable file and run it.

no it is for version 2.x.y.

For SE 1.12.5 use something like:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Slide Effect\se.exe "c:\Users\Public\Documents\Slide Effect\sample.sef"

    Hi,

If you want to run a presentation automatically using the command line, do the following:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Slide Effect 2\player\SlideEffectPlayer.exe "c:\Users\Public\Documents\Slide Effect\sample.sef"

(this command will run the sample presentation if you used the standard paths)

    Hi Rick,

I checked this issue this morning, but it is a huge change in how the keyboard input is handled… SO it won’t be fiyed in the short term, but it is on my todo list, so expect to see this feature added in the future.

    Rick,

In French we have an expression, that says something like “Give him your hand, he will take the arm!” 🙂

Just joking, I understand the need for this but it is not as easy as it sounds… I will take a look on that and I’ll go back to you.

    Hi Rick,

You are perfectly right: I forgot this issue.

It is fixed in newly available 2.0.22 version.

    Thanks for the report!

    Hi Rick,

Thanks for the feedback. I am just back from Holidays, I will take a look at theses issues as soon as possible. But it is not easy for me to reproduce these sporadic crashes.

If you have a way to reproduce these errors every time, it will help me a lot to found and fix these issues.

    Hi Cheryl,

I will take a look to the standalone executable file, as soon as I have some time. I’ll keep you informed.

    Hi Tricia,

Can you send me the project file (*.SEF) you are trying to export? (alain@slide-effect.com) This way I can check what’s going on.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

You can create larger text: just type the size you want instead of choosing in the combo.

    Hi,

Yes this is an issue with Hi-DPI screens: the next/cancel buttons are not displayed. I will release a fix later this week. In the meantime you can just set the dpi of your screen to 100% when doing export and you will see buttons.

For info on how to change dpi: http://news.kynosarges.org/2015/09/05/dpi-settings-in-windows-10/

According to what I saw, errors you encountered on save comes from corrupted downloaded backgrounds/effects. I added a verification in 2.0.12, so hopefully these errors should disappear.

Still, I am not able to verify already downloaded effects (only backgrounds) so please double check all additional effects you installed previously 2.0.12 are not corrupted.

    From 2.0.12, everything is checked.
