    Hi,
I loaded an .exe file on to a computer that does and has always played these files. I’m now getting an error message: “the procedure entry point could not be located in the dynamic link library kernel32.dll” this is followed by “user lib not found”.
As I said, there are older presentations that open and work on this machine so it’s only since the most recent upgrade that things are not exporting as they should.

    Hi,

can you send me the EXE file and the SEF file so I can check the problem by myself? (please use http://www.dropsend.com service on my email address alain@slide-effect.com)

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    Thanks for the files.

I tried your exe file on 3 different computers and it works like a charm.

    That’s really strange.

Are you sure older presentation are still working on your computer? It is maybe possible something changed on your computer…

Can you run the following on the faulty computer?

    – Download the following file:
    https://www.slide-effect.com/tools/SlideEffectDiagnose.EXE
    – Run it (double-click on it) – enter your email address so I can retrieve the correct log report.

This tool will do some check on your computer and automatically send a report to us.

    Hi Alain,

Thank you for your response and consideration, I will try this. I have three other presentations on this computer that are fine and the one that won’t work is only a slight modification to one that plays ok (strange!)

I appear to have two accounts on this forum (even more strange!)

    Kind regards,

    Tom
