    I wasn’t quite clear on how to get out of the FOLLOW TEXT mode when I had finished setting up the path for the text to follow. I hit save, and Slide Effect went into an eternal loop mode of trying to save, the save bar moved about 1/4 of the way and then it just stayed there FOREVER. Had to use task killer to shut it down.

    Sorry I meant FOLLOW PATH option!

    BTW: to exit from Follow Path editing option you can just click on the “Edit” button near the effect.
