KeymasterYou created a neat presentation using Slide Effect but you are not able to view it on your favorite media player… what is the problem?
Probably you don’t have the correct codec. Slide Effect create movies using the mpeg2video codec and uses internally wmv1 and wmv2 codec, so if one of these is missing you may experience some problem playing your movie (black screen for instance)
Solution:
Download the following package of codec and it will correct your issue:
http://shark007.net/vistacodecpackage.htmlIf DVD movies still displays a black screen, you can for instance use VLC media player to view it:

MemberI’m having this same problem. I’m new to SlideEffect. I am using Adobe Premier Pro for video editing. I have a 15 minute ‘live’ video and I want to bring in my Slide Effect “movie” at the end of this, but while I can export it as a Flash or WMV, if I choose a higher resolution, the actual slide show stumbles — it slows down some of the images overlap each other, and don’t convert.
Yes, I have each of the slides set to 4 seconds (set automatically).
The Flash version output from SlideEffect was best, but when uploading this to YouTube, it said I should have chosen a higher resolution method. And when trying to Import the Flash version to Adobe Premiere, it wouldn’t accept it.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

KeymasterTo create movies you have to use menu “File/Export Presentation…”.
