i am on vista premium and now every time I go to the install path of my screensaver which is in the program files, my windows explorer stalls and has to restart itself every time, and now I might have to reinstall my system as the uninstall does not work, even if it did my explorer would have crashed by then. very annoying and totally lost now. Will move to XP and have a play on that.

Well, it seems a bit strange.

I’m not sure it is related to Slide Effect or your screensaver: the exported screensaver is a standard screensaver and it uses Inno Setup as installer which is a widely used installer system.

Anyway, please give me more information about this issue, and I will take a look on it.
